Alison W. Silver, LCSW

I am a licensed clinical social worker in private practice since 2019. I received my Bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Georgia and earned a Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I completed a 1-year post-Master’s clinical fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center.

I have nearly two decades of experience working with children and families in a variety of settings including residential treatment, outpatient clinics, schools, and community-based treatment. I am a professional member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the North Carolina Society for Clinical Social Work. I provide individual therapy, play therapy, and parent guidance for children birth-18 years old and specialize in working with preschool-age children.
